Now comes the nearly impossible feat of choosing a Wordpress theme...
@killyourfm I like the ones what don't invade privacy and offer proper microformats but that's just me :)
@bekopharm Can you please elaborate?
@killyourfm bout what?
There are themes that when previewed make my ublock origin go brrrrt. That's the stuff that should be omitted.
Or do you mean microformats?
> Designed for humans first and machines second, microformats are a set of simple, open data formats built upon existing and widely adopted standards.
WP has _some_ out of the box but that's hardly enough. Proper themes are usually tagged with "microformats".
@bekopharm thanks for the explanation on microformats. I’m still lost though. I’m not a web designer, just a content creator.
I’m also still not clear on what types of themes would invade privacy. How would you even detect and flag them?
@killyourfm you can't detect that until you try them.
There are e.g. many that include _fonts_ from the Google CDN instead of hosting the fonts local on your website
This way Google knows basically every URL you visit.
Stuff like this is simply a No-Go and not only since yesterday.
