To honor the yearly IRC festival, I did finally find some time to read throu the resp. IRC RFCs and IRCv3 specs: ircv3.net/

Reading the spec first seems very similar, but they really seem to fix many shortcomings of IRC:

OTOH: I thing this can probably be used to bypass many firewalls, SSH over SCTP is already helpful in some cases: 0x27.me/ssh/sctp/privacy/secur

PS: Wer von euch kennt noch geocities oder hatte dort gar eine Webseite?

Over the last few years I did develop an unhealthy interesst in DAB+, and it's somehow sad that celluar radio will probably kill most broadcast technologies.
But if you search an DAB+ receiver for on the go, I can recommend "Sky Vision DAB 13 R" which is perfect for a long walk.

Underrated meme in 2020:
"When you find out your daily lifestyle is called quarantine."

I did switch my web site m3y3r.de/ from hugo to sculpin ( sculpin.io/ )
I never got really warm with hugo.
also it's maybe possbile to run sculpin directly on the webserver.

Nice - - never heard of it before, need to look at it more closely. seems to have some interessting solutions. nixos.org/ - I wonder how it does relate to CoreOS

Google removed K-9 Mail from the Play store with zero notice because the description of the app included alternate spellings of the app name we'd included to work around how bad Play's search is.

"We didn't call it fuzzing back in the 1950s, but it was our standard practice to test programs by inputting decks of punch cards taken from the trash.

We also used decks of random number punch cards. We weren't networked in those days, so we weren't much worried about security, but our random/trash decks often turned up undesirable behavior.

Every programmer I knew used the trash-deck technique."
