Took the 27 other minis of the Border Patrol from having a basecoat of Scar White to having a Layer of Apothecary White. Oh this is ideal.</p><p>Bit sceptical on the tweaks for army list at 500pts. There’s something very satisfying about a small army with 3+ units, no 0-x per 1000pts. It was always going to have Free Company, what else are the sailors gunna do other than claim double wages, eh? Also - best kit ever.</p><p>What makes me chuffed is - my speed painting is coming on. Rollleaf Drumlinhat<p>I’ve done another tester model for the <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/StirRiverPatrol" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>StirRiverPatrol</span></a> and rebased one of my original Stir River Patrol to the new 25mm base size. I’ve tweaked the colour profile on the green and I think… think I can have a bit of fun adding multiple shades of green to this army. Trying to figure out a way to speedily paint up the Stir River Patrol. Gone about doing a trimmed down white recipe all over and using it to layer some contrasts over for the cloths. An odd way to pre highlight, but not awful.
