Delta Sierra<p>The 02 Grand Cherokee got new front brakes yesterday! They look similar, but the new brakes have a better design which evens out rotor wear and reduces the risk of warpage. Of course I also pulled out the front lift plates too, so now the truck is level and handles *much* better.</p><p>Of course, we have a new problem - even after bleeding, the pedal is still extremely soft. My hope is that we just need to bleed it again, but it's also possible there's air in the ABS module. The fix for that involves a trip to the dealership so they can use a scan tool to trigger an ABS module bleed, and that's gonna be expensive. However, there is a "shade tree" fix:</p><p>Slam on the brakes while on a slick surface.</p><p>Good thing we're supposed to get 8" of snow today!</p><p>The last major issue is the transmission, and I'll start on that as soon as the brakes are done. Root Moose<p>Just finished watching S02 of Severance. Fantastic production! If you have not watched this series from S01E01 - worth the seat time.</p><p>Jessica Lee Gagné and team are geniuses. The cinematography is excellent. As good ( better in the details &amp; sustainment! ) as any Kubrick, Anderson, or Ridley - next level in fact!</p><p>As a Newfoundlander of a certain age, S02E08 was particularly poignant; memories of Grandma's house, grief, and all that... I'm not crying - you're crying! Faraiwe<p>Sigh.</p><p>Have to replace a starter on the WK. Got the "*tick*, no start" twice, in a week. Starter about to go, I seen this movie, even the credits suck. </p><p>Took a look, and the starter is still factory, and it LOOKS it. Eh. Seems to work and now microG also. However the <a href="https://attractive.space/tags/Jeep" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Jeep</span></a> app still doesn’t log in. It doesn’t crash anymore but then just states login error after giving credentials. The network is a bit iffy so will need to investigate further. Also <a href="https://attractive.space/tags/AuroraStore" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AuroraStore</span></a> got an update but after hitting update it closes down on start. </p><p>Actual native things so far work, but I haven’t yet done broader testing. Still a nice environment.</p>
