T_XAlso figured out why <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/spawnOn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#spawnOn</a> to start a window on a specific <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/workspace" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#workspace</a> did not seem to work properly in my <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Xmonad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Xmonad</a> tiling window manager setup. Switched from <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/lxterminal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#lxterminal</a> to <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/xfce4" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#xfce4</a>-terminal. The latter has a "disable-server" option to use one process per window. The former or gnome-terminal don't have this option (anymore). However a per window process seems necessary for Xmonad's spawnOn. I just kinda forgot the beauty of having a machine set up for focus, and not dithering.I'll have to uninstall toot from it, and I might temporarily remove my authorized_keys entry from my rPi machine so I don't hop over to it to use tut, either.I've also found that <a href="https://alpha.polymaths.social/tags/alacritty" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Alacritty</a> seems to be the perfect terminal for <a href="https://alpha.polymaths.social/tags/openbsd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#OpenBSD</a>... nice blend of fairly modern options and decent unicode support. For some reason, unicode just doesn't work right on <a href="https://alpha.polymaths.social/tags/lxterminal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#lxterminal</a> on that OS.

adnan360Wayland support has improved a lot. And there are a lot more wayland apps available now compared to when I tried it last, about 2 years ago. I barely notice I'm running <a href="https://mas.to/tags/wayland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#wayland</a>, not <a href="https://mas.to/tags/xorg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#xorg</a>. Even <a href="https://mas.to/tags/LXTerminal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#LXTerminal</a> runs on wayland which I didn't expect.Only thing I notice is the lag when launching something that runs on X, for example Leafpad. But once it's loaded, it works fine.Other than that, everything including LibreWolf, Inkscape, Geany, LibreOffice, Thunar, mpv runs flawlessly under wayland.
