Les 241 assemblages de combustible nucléaire, des éléments de 4,50 m de long pesant chacun 800 kg et composés de pastilles d'<a href="https://mastodon.cipherbliss.com/tags/uranium" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>uranium</span></a> enrichi, ont trouvé leurs places dans le cœur du réacteur suite aux opérations de chargement débutée le vendredi 8 mai. Le chargement du combustible constituait l'acte I, réussi avec succès, des opérations de démarrage du plus puissant des réacteurs au monde au monde (1600 MWe - 4300 MWth).
