The Infinity Column is a remarkable sculpture created by the Romanian artist Constantin Brâncuși. It is part of a trilogy of monumental works designed and executed by him and built to honor the soldiers who defended Târgu Jiu during World War I. It stands at an impressive height of 30 meters and is constructed from zinc, brass-clad, cast-iron modules threaded onto a steel spine.<br>

With the Sun playfully penetrating the canopy of trees in this City Center Park, there is a lot of activity among the branches. At ground-level, the air feels cool and fresh.<br>
