MirppcSo a little update. The biggest thing i got from <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/scale22x" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#scale22x</a> was a viral sinus infection. It was a nasty one. Sadly in my efforts to fight the infection, it made its way into my lungs. As someone who, out of all they things they can suck at in life, i suck at breathing. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/asthma" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#asthma</a> It seems this illness will continue on and linger for a bit longer. Sucks too as i had some projects in mind, but with no voice i cannot scream into the void.Will get back to things once i am well enough to do so.

Sarah ConwayWent to the first technology conference I've been to since 2019 and the experience did not disappoint!! It is one of my favorite <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/OpenSource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#OpenSource</a> events, although I'm biased at least a little given it was my first introduction to the <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/tech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#tech</a> community 14 years ago.If you haven't been, it's a great community & open source focused event with a very diverse group of attendees, wide range of talks and a packed expo hall. That really made my morning. QBSH is now a little better because of it! Does it work with includes and home manager?I don't have many config files, but I do have multiple machines. Copying changed files around is annoying, but not enough to write a script to do it. The various remote management suites, or even just an Ansible playbook seem like overkill to me. One of the <a href="https://indieweb.social/tags/SCALE22x" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#SCALE22x</a> <a href="https://indieweb.social/tags/NixOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#NixOS</a> presentations was using conditionals to select configs based on host. I wonder if includes could come from Git too?
