I've been working through it with the help of blogs, books, and long rambling posts where I talk about my journey.</p><p>Being at this place where the decluttering and organizing is so much more under control is incredible. Now I can just... clean. And keep it clean.</p><p>It's taken literal years, and there's a long way to go. Sheru (she/her)<p>The other thing I tackled yesterday which I often forget when it comes to cleaning is the baseboards.</p><p>They're one of those things, so easy to miss. And we don't consciously notice them most of the time. But holy balls it makes SUCH a difference when you DO clean them.</p><p>It's really nice to be at a place with this house where I have the space/energy to clean the baseboards. Sheru (she/her)<p>Wasn't going to do any cleaning today other than a quick sweep/mop of the main floor. </p><p>- This is something I always do when I know guests are coming. With a dog, the floors get dusty fast. Doing this ~1hr before arrival is the best time. And gives the house a nice freshly clean smell.</p><p>Then I was on the stairs and noticed how grimy the hand rail was. Thankfully it was super easy to clean.
