The workflow of creating an #Ariadne signature profile on @keyoxide is so much smoother than the #GPG equivalent! #keyoxide
• no looking up of command-line options
• no weird “notations”
• no exporting with --armor and copying .asc files
• no dealing with keyservers
You just fill in a couple input fields on https://asp.keyoxide.org & save your key somewhere. Done. I'd say #ASP would be a nice addition to @soatok's list of #PGP alternatives! https://soatok.blog/2024/11/15/what-to-use-instead-of-pgp/

@pixelcode @keyoxide @soatok what exactly does ASP do? Is it some encryption and signing tool?
“Just like passports for real life identities, Keyoxide can be used to verify the online identity of people to make sure one is interacting with whom they are supposed to be and not imposters.” – https://keyoxide.org
Historically, PGP keys were used to create Keyoxide profiles but PGP and, specifically, GPG suck. Soatok pointed out a list of tools each of which is replaces PGP for a specific use case, but Keyoxide has been missing so far. ASP is IMHO the perfect candidate for this.
@pixelcode so as I understand it, Keyoxide is something to cross-verify your online presence to show that it all belongs to the same person?
