Is #Invidious finally dead and buried for good? So, #RIP and let's move all our #video content to #Peertube? Other ideas?
No it's not.
Public instances are struggling but private instances work perfectly.
(You can and should still use PeerTube though)

@invidious @debacle What makes that possible? I would have thought Google blocking would be effective regardless of the status of the instance? A link to relevant content is enough if it takes too long to type up here. Thank you!
@phf @invidious @debacle Google is blocking IP addresses to access Youtube. So data centers IPs are blocked but residential IPs are not blocked as it would block Youtube.com as well.

@phf @invidious @debacle They may block the IPs that look at x YT videos at a time for example, but private instances just look like regular users. Mine still worked last time I checked!
