The upcoming v1.1 update of #TapestryApp has a ton of great stuff but it also deals with the vexing problem of duplicate cross posts over multiple feeds.

To say I’m proud of @bigzaphod for designing and implementing this amazing feature is a vast understatement. As far as I’m concerned it’s engineering voodoo.

From the beginning we knew cross posts would be a major problem for Tapestry and while not perfect, the new Crosstalk feature is just amazing. Stay tuned!

@gedeonm @bigzaphod This is a very welcome addition, but I noticed an issue with it. All of the Doonesbury comics are accidentally marked by this feature.

A screenshot from the Tapestry app on iPhone. I’m searching within the All Feeds timeline for the phrase “Doonesbury”. The app finds several issues of the comic, and all are mistakenly marked as “Crosstalk”.
