My wife's desktop is pretty old: AMD A4-5300 with 8 GB DDR3. Good hardware, but not enough for the modern web.
Today I've bought a used Dell OptiPlex 3080 MFF with i3-10100T, 8 GB DDR4 and 512 GB SSD for 700 PLN ($174) in #CeX shop. It doesn't have Wi-Fi card, but I have one. Also I have a 16 GB DDR4 module.
Surprise: the BIOS has admin password, and there is no more "CMOS reset" jumper on the motherboard. You can press power button for 20 seconds, and it resets some settings,
So, I bring the PC back to the shop and they returned me money.
They told me they will send it to their internal repair center.
