@dansup @dansup@pixelfed.social @pixelfed I noticed when I try to share photos directly out of my Gallery app (Fossify) from my AOSP 15 phone, that out of the 4 Pixelfed compatible client apps I have installed, Pixeldroid and Fedilab come out as available options to upload with, but the official Pixelfed app (as well as Pixelix) do not. Anyway to fix this for the official app?

We’ve just released a fresh update!

- Redesigned Settings page for a better experience.
- AMOLED theme for an energy-efficient display.
- New design for the New Post screen.
- Bug fixes and performance improvements.

A little teaser of the features we are currently working on

The settings page is getting a complete redesign. Also it is a drawer which floats in from the right side now.

We are also working on an AMOLED theme, which is even darker than dark theme

Giving @Pixelix a try. Im direkten Vergleich mit der #pixelfed App finde ich #pixelix angenehmer in der Bedienung und im look & feel. Die Integration mit dem Webinterface für noch nicht unterstützte App-Funktionalität finde ich auch ziemlich gelungen.

Bei der #pixelfed App stört mich die Platzaufteilung irgendwie. Bilder wirken oft „zu groß“ auf dem Screen des Mobiltelefons, weil alles so bis an die Ränder geht.
