I've been really impressed with Qobuz as a music streaming service.

Their recommendations are very, very different, and they promote a set list of albums of the week of some new and music I would never have found otherwise.

Also, they just launched their music commissions transparency here. They pay the most per stream compared to their competitors: community.qobuz.com/press-en/q

Hey peeps, since many of us are here as an alternative to big corporations, if you also care about the people who make #music, reminder that spotify barely (doesnt) pay small musicians, but you have alternatives like qobuz.com which are transparent and pay per-stream.

@helenfernanda assinei o #qobuz por 1 mês para experimentar. Teve alguns álbuns que não achei, mas pouca coisa. Em compensação, o serviço é muito caprichado. Cheio de informações para quem gosta de música. Uma coisa que gostei bastante é poder pesquisar álbuns de um mesmo selo. Já descobri artistas bacanas assim.

#qobuz vs #deezer

I'm not sure which music streaming platform to use. I currently use #AppleMusic. In the past I've used #Deezer and #Tidal. I really liked #Deezer at the time, but then I switched to Apple Music to consolidate several services in the same subscription.

Now I want to change. I was thinking of going back to #Deezer but I've read a lot of very positive comments about #Qobuz, especially about the sound quality. Plus they pay artists a bit more.

I've got a network speaker (a Denon Home 150) that speaks "AirPlay Remote", "AirTunes Remote", "Tidal Connect", "Spotify Connect", "HEOS Audio", and "Qobuz Connect" according to Avahi.

How can I play music on this from Linux?

My music player (Strawberry) doesn't list it or any of those protocols, and I can't set it as an audio device (which is probably a good thing).
