Well, the moment they announced it would run #CreationEngine its fate was set in stone.
I've lost hope for #TheElderScrollsVI being a technologically modern game. I hope #Bethesda writing team bring their A-game otherwise I can see having the same lukewarm reception as #Starfield.

The RPG bar is high and anything below what #LarianStudios made is going to be "good enough".
Take for example #TheElderScrollsVI, supposedly on track for 2025. Imagine so much hype for what could end as a "6/10 game" that does half what BG3 does, and then some.

If The Elder Scrolls VI is "playable", then the game is on Creation Engine. That's DOA in 2025.
I don't have hopes for a good The Elder Scrolls VI if Bethesda keeps insisting in the Creation Engine.
Even CD Projekt RED changed engines to Unreal 5 for The Witcher 4.
I know some companies don't want to pay Epic Games for their technology, but at this point it's cheaper than building your own and offering a mediocre experience.
