The Grey Wethers Stone Circles, Dartmoor

Part of a Scheduled Monument that includes three round cairns, two ring cairns and an oval enclosure. The two stone circles, collectively known as The Grey Wethers, are quite similar. One is 31.5m diameter and has 20 upright stones, while the other is 33m and has 29 standing stones. The close proximity of several monuments makes this an important ritual site. : @morgrugyn with permission

Babeny Farm, Dartmoor

Former Devon longhouse, early-mid C16, with house end ruined, though shippon and passage remain intact and still in agricultural use. On right-hand wall of passage, now the gable end, is a large granite-framed fireplace, with an absolutely massive lintel, which although nicely shaped is probably far larger than was necessary and must have been extremely difficult to manoeuver into place.

Dort lebt ein ehemaliger Klassenkamerad von mir, den ich nach x Jahren wiedergefunden habe. Und wir konnten es einrichten uns dort zu treffen.
Ich freue mich wie Bolle. Wir haben uns das letzte Mal vor über 20 Jahren gesehen.

Und am Tag danach fahre ich dann wieder runter nach #Devon.
