i am #crowdfunding the production of #ghostbox which is a #solo epistolary journalling #ttrpg about abandoned postboxes and dead letters, and the hopeful senders who introduce one to the other. you can find out more at marx-of-high-water.itch.io/gho

i've been using an #itchio sale to fund, currently 50% off. plus, i'm very close to two thresholds: 100 backers, and $625, my break-even level. if your purchase takes me over that limit, you get a free special vintage postcard reward, delivered worldwide.

i've been #itchfunding #ghostbox because i wanted to raise funds to pay freelancers to make it better. it was initially really successful which was great.

but what i didn't realised until now that itchfunding is really twitterfunding. no other platform's audience has been as receptive to the idea of diy crowdfunding. my following there was tuned perfectly to it.

i am struggling to get the last bits of funding now. i'm trying fb, reddit, and so on, but i can't get the sales anymore.
