Dont forget to update your #waveloggate for CAT and ADIF Transport to #wavelog from time to time. Latest release fixes a small bug, where Waveloggate lost the connection to flrig while running in background. #hamr #hamradio

Dan Great propagation on VHF today. Lots of APRS pings, and managed to work into GM, GW, G, GI, EI with 5/9 reports using 10 watts FM and a 0 dB gain antenna.

We're really in a golden age of radios. I do not have one of the kits at the site below, but people seem to love them. They are #QRP (5 W or less) but are amazingly capable.
And the guy that makes these radios is not the only guy (or company) out there making this sort of stuff. Really remarkable. When I got in in 1991, #Heathkit was dead as far as amateur stuff & Ramsay was the only other thing out there.

Looking forward to helping out with #HamRadio support for RideTheLowcountry this weekend. This is a bike event in the Francis Marion National Forest, so cell phone coverage will be spotty out there. Looks like more hams signed up for this than previous races so that's cool.
I fully support the RAC board's decision and wrote to the president and others and said so. Too many in the US either don't know what their duly-elected tyrant is doing or think it's a joke. Threatening your neighbors is not a joke.

Decided to build a more permanent version of the ‘Coastal 20’ non-resonant multiband. I’m surprised how well it works 
It’s not exactly meant for QRO, but that doesn’t matter, I’m mostly QRP, hardly ever above 10-20Watts.
Can’t wait to play with 17 and 12m, it’s quite rare I visit those bands
