It’s #MarchForMacragge so I decided to paint some Smurfs that have been staring me down from a shelf for about a year now… and @Conqueresse clearly misunderstood the whole concept and painted a #MarchOnMacragge Combat Patrol instead.

Here’s my #MarchForMacragge project for 2024 - Brother Orpheus, Ultramarine Sternguard with LED effects!
This mini is inspired by a classic John Blanche artwork.
Brother Orpheus’ helmet is cast resin with an internal 1.8mm red LED. The muzzle flare is a yellow 0805 SMD chip LEDs and acrylic gel.

And finally a Primaris Ancient of the Ultramarines 4th Company

Also been working on a pair of Ancients, first up the Bladeguard Ancient of the Ultramarines 1st Company

Most of this past week I have been out of commission due to a fall in which I badly injured my knee

So I have been slowly plugging away at these Bladguard Veterans for my Ultramarines, the first squad for the 1st Company contingent!
