the end of a night and day of crazy wind and rain here in Portugal
A little full moon rising at sunset overshadowed by the big thunderhead.
Today has been all rain all the time just about, but yesterday towards the end of the day we were treated to this sunset.
The end of a really stormy and windy day here in Portugal.
By the way, it's still raining here in our corner of Portugal. Just as we got home from this walk, it really started dumping!

Okay, I think I've finished this. Will have to let it steep a while to be sure, but I think it's about there. This is from a late afternoon dog walk on the hills near where we live in Portugal.

I had kinda hoped that I could finish this over the weekend, but it quickly became clear that a fair amount of energy was still due. But here is proof that I worked on it.

I'm in the middle of reworking the sky and the clouds now. Clouds are hard; I find that if I 'make them up' too much they look stupid, and if I match them too closely they're dead. This stage is getting them close, then I come back and get them too like clouds instead of paint...
