It's amazing how the musical episode of Strange New Worlds, "Subspace Rhapsody", came out 18 months ago, and I'm still discovering clever little things when I listen to it for the umpteenth time.
I took me weeks to realize, back then, that my two favorite songs were the *same song*, just in a different key and style.
Today I realized that the two songs even start with, aaargh, *the same line*.

Two *billion* in cuts.
This feels more like a strip mining operation. And I suspect the only ore veins investors care about are #StarTrek, #TopGun, and #SouthPark. (And maybe #BeavisAndButtHead, but let's not dwell on that.)

Una Chin-Riley is on the left portrayed by Rebecca Romijn. She was also portrayed by Majel Barret in the original pilot. William Riker is on the right portrayed by Jonathan Frakes.
Spock is on the left portrayed here by Leonard Nimoy. He has been more recently played by Ethan Peck. Michael Burnham is on the right portrayed by Sonequa Martin-Green.

18. Tysess is the first officer of the USS Dauntless under Admiral Janeway, he serves to temper her emotional responses and has to deal with several strange situations.
At times, when @czds and I are watching a show, and an actor from a different show we watched appears, a story connecting their two characters comes to mind, eg: Captain Batel from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds #STSNW is the great, great, great granddaughter of #WynonnaEarp and Doc Holliday

I think it helped that I'm up to date on my Star Trek shows. If I had stuck to the classics I would have missed it.
BTW, did you see that Discovery was canceled? Frankly, I'm not going to miss it.

I'm watching Star Trek Prodigy now. It's got some fun parts & I'm liking the character development as well as exploring the principles of the Star Fleet.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds ist ja wirklich mal gelungen, mit genialer Optik. Bin bei S01EP5 und freue mich auf den Rest. Insbesondere gefällt mir bisher, das jede Folge wieder eine Geschichte ist. Sehr angenehm.
