As a trans guy I DREAM of having a beard.
But I also know that my masculinity has nothing to do with it, the same way it has nothing to do with what is -or isn't- between my legs.
Cis guys could learn a thing or two from us in that matter.
As with school shooters, let's stop giving free publicity to toxic masculinity and instead drown them in Positive Masculinity like these kids do.

I was busy doing my job when two ladies came into the library. They looked like sisters and I thought they probably were.
One of them came up to ask for help locating a certain book. While I was searching the catalog, one picked up a book from the Most Wanted, "The Lies He Told Me" and waggled it towards the other who said, "Girl, I could've written that!" The women then told me they'd once been married to the same guy and were now besties.
First woman: "I'm the first wife..."
Second woman: "And I'm the third, there was one in between."
Me: "Wow, when they start to form a club..."
Them: "Yeah, there was a second, but we don't want her in our club."
I gave them their info and wished them a great day together.

Coleman Spilde is right. Essential tv for all: "I’d go as far as to say that "Adolescence" should be required viewing for all teenagers, & certainly a condition of having a phone. If a teen wants to be tapped into the digital echo chamber, they have to know what it can do to them. Goodwill & hope that parents will raise their children correctly aren’t enough when the worlds inside of their phones can undo all of that learning."

You are absolutely right. Especially about those in power doing the abuse. I was thinking more about the centrist normies in my life that still can't wake up to the reality of the situation.
I've also said before that #ToxicMasculinity is the gateway drug to #fascism. As in, that's one of the first steps on the average citizen's slide into fascism. Do you think that's accurate?
Fascism weaponizes the #ToxicMasculinity trait of never admitting you're wong. This is made even worse by the fact that they were swindled by a tier C grifter from Queens.
Combine that with American Exceptionalism & the desire for comfort over all and ~1/2 of America is still denying the reality in front of them.
#TonicMasculinity is swallowing your pride, listening to those being harmed long before you & speaking up for them. Especially if your voice is louder than theirs.
Whatched Adolescence on Netflix yesterday and I’m still processing. Especially the third episode is what’s getting to me. It’s so well made, the acting … and then it leaves you sick to the stomach.
