A nice Potato grouper or Potato bass. This is a large and robust species of grouper which attains a maximum published length of 200 centimetres (79 in) and a weight of 110 kilograms (240 lb). I met that one in Ponta de Ouro, Mozambia.

Underwater portrait of a crocodile ;-)
This may seem strange but I love crocodiles. They are fascinating animals, unloved and not valued at their true value. They are engineer animals that allow the existence of hundreds of other species in the mangroves, in Mexico. For the Mayans, the crocodile is the one who sacrificed himself to save the world by carrying it on his back! I made this image for my previous film broadcast in December on television. It's called "Face to Face: overcoming fear with the crocodiles".

Gevonden bij paal 6 op het strand van #Schiermonnikoog. Dit diertje woont nu in het aquarium van het Baken en dat is best bijzonder want meestal overleven ze het aanspoelen niet.
De kleine zee-appel is een zee-egel.
Als je die wilt spotten in het aquarium heb je geluk als die zich vasthoudt aan het glas zoals je hier ziet. Op de bodem valt het dier niet zo op door de schelpen die het boven zich vasthoudt.
