@schestowitz what I'd really like to see is more proper FOSS open source display signage software for these things (that doesn't need Docker and gigabytes of other things or is attempt to upsell to SaaS, its only driving a framebuffer after all!)

As funny as it is to see glitched Windows screens at train stations/other places with specialist displays as schadenfreude, it also shows how much "lock in" Redmond has with these things (maybe custom drivers for unusual shape displays?)
