The German space rocket manufactured by was destroyed only about 20 seconds after launch when initiating a “pitch-over manoeuvre”. Instead of rotating, it turned downwards to the Earth and fell out of the sky.

Not sure whether the enormous explosion that can be heard in the live stream resulted from the rocket impacting the ground or from deliberate destruction as a precaution.
