A man has been nicked for filming a fatal #collision on #A14 highway outside #Ipswich #Suffolk whilst driving and posting the footage on #SocialMedia (this incident resulted in A14 being closed for several hours earlier this week)
an important point here (other than road safety considerations) is that someone used social media for a purpose others considered illegal/asocial - those who saw it reported the content to the Police, who took action to successfully trace the offender with *days*. Ofc filming a crash scene is genuinely bad, but this could equally happen to folk talking about minor drug use, political protests or similar - so its never a good idea to use corporate social media for those things..
