@MLE_online According to Reddit (= dubious), it's a firmware bug these things have, nobody hacked or lockpicked it, it just crashed. Probably reading code as data and displaying it.

@yngmar I wonder why, if it's a bug, this message only appears online two other times and both recently in the LA area. If this was a common way for them to crash, I would think we would see pics of this from all over the place for a few years
@MLE_online I'd expect it is a specific firmware version only. So if one company in the area happens to have updated all their Wanco VMS' from the same USB stick with that version...
