It's one of the most aggressively anti-populist bills I've seen in ages. It's written by fossil-fuel-industry allies on behalf of the fossil fuel industry, with a Project 2025 laundry list.

Be really helpful if he did something to narrow the scope of his permitting changes to set a national standard on transmission, and leave out the fossil fuels parts. But he went in completely the opposite direction.
