It seems a trend in the election postmortem theories is to blame the Democratic campaign strategy which failed to reach/inspire low wage workers about the plan to manage the economy.
I don't agree. The problem is much bigger than that.

But can we not also say that #Harris’ loss was due to #Mysogyny and #racism? Can we conclude that Harris’ run was successful in that it creates more possibilities for what is possible in 2026, even within a culture of #fascism ?

In tech companies, I've been harassed, threatened, made passes at and gaslit. In civic tech activism, I've had men assert that I have no competencies and understand nothing.
Oh, and in tech journalism I've had an editor refuse to publish my picture - the same one I use here - in an article because it is "too sexual".

If the UK Government is seeing misogyny as extremism, what will their relationship with the USA be if Trump gets elected?
So as a lifelong cyclist but a new race watcher, when I heard about the #TourDeFrance Femme I assumed it was basically the same event. But as always I underestimated the #mysogyny. Not only does the TDFF have fewer stages (8 vs 23), the UCI regulates stage lengths to be shorter than men's stages for, you know, "reasons".
The fact the race exists at all (it started in 2021) is real progress. But man, we still have so much further to go...
