Привет, хабр! Программирую на C++ / Qt / QML в среде разработки QtCreator уже 6-ой год. У меня есть определенные пересечения мыслей с мозгом груга и еще мне постоянно хочется избавиться от глупой и рутинной работы, которая есть на разных этапах разработки. Одна из таких работ - возня с IDE и рабочим окружением, особенно в мире C++ разработки. В статье постараюсь раскрыть проблему и описать свой текущий подход к решению.

#VSCode adds these little notes to code. Useful feature, nothing you want to disable. Still, these notes are in the wrong place: where VSCode places them, they make the code harder to read. Is there a way to move them to the right margin, like #QtCreator does?
While I was waiting for the update to #QtCreator 14 to finish, I was wondering whether it would at all run on #macOS #BigSur. Turns out: it wouldn't (of course not). While the old releases are still available for download, downgrading isn't not that easy as many dependencies (especially the plugins) fail to load.
This is very sad.
Not sure how many people this will reach, but...
If you are a #Qt developer, using #QtCreator, I just hit a snag that took me out of commission for almost an entire day.
If you are like me, you may have a TON of obsolete kits-- I never thought this was a problem, but when I recently added yet another new kit, *nothing* ran-- I just got weird platform errors.
Uninstall/Reinstall didn't help.
Finally? Remove `%APPDATA%\Local\QtProject` and `%APPDATA%\Roaming\QtProject`

Why is the world under Windows to Linux so much different for #cmake ?
I spent too much time to find a solution for the non-existing #pkgconfig under this environment. Finally #mingw saved me and an adaptation of the path setting.
@thelinuxcast I hate this, and this keeps happening.
At least I can fix #qtcreator by manually tweaking the style (but why provide "system" if it doesn't work?)

Checking out new RC1 from #QtCreator (13.0.0) on #HaikuOS, with a small fix to #FPC I was able to build #Hedgewars (also in Terminal), but not with our tool #haikuporter, launches fine and music is playing fine too, still crashes on something when actualy launching a game/training.
