I had known about #Tuxedo, the company I bought my laptop from, for quite some time and also knew that they had an OS based on Ubuntu that made everything work. I had tried Linux a long time ago and what I really wanted to avoid was having to constantly tweak my system to make it work. And I didn't have to, everything just worked as promised.

Depuis 7 mois je me suis mis à #ergol
Pour la petite histoire, je m’entraîne sur mon laptop #tuxedo qui a un clavier #azerty_plus (probablement le seul au monde et j’en suis pas peut fier!! 
)
Bref, tout ça pour dire que pour moi c’est long, mais aujourd’hui je tape presque aussi vite qu’en azerty parce que je ne regarde plus du tout mon clavier, que je fais beaucoup moins de fautes de frappe et que c’est beaucoup plus sympa comme disposition !! :)

Hat hier jemand Interesse ein gebrauchtes #Tuxedo #InfinityBook Pro 13 v2 käuflich zu erwerben? Das Gerät ist aus 2017/18, hat eine 256GB Samsung M.2-SSD eingebaut, den Akku habe ich ebenfalls erneuert und ein Netzteil ist natürlich auch am Start.

Das Gerät habe ich über das Studium einige Jahre lang genutzt, es funktioniert problemlos, nur der Akku ist etwas schwach auf der Brust. TuxedoOS hab ich kürzlich erst installiert, so würde ich es auch belassen.

Was reading this @tuxedocomputers update on the status of their ARM based laptop https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/en/How-is-TUXEDOCOes-ARM-Notebook-Coming-Along.tuxedo and I’m disappointed that Qualcomm decided to shut the door. Is this because Microsoft is paying them to be exclusive? We can’t have nice things :-/ #tuxedo #linux #arm #qualcomm

Meine Frau & ich haben auf dem #Sofa zwecks #Unterhaltung häufig unsere #Notebook auf dem Schoß.
Grundlegendes klappt auf beiden Geräten aber #Streaming & #Gaming kann ich vergessen, da zieht sie mich mit dem #Tuxedo #Pulse gefühlt um den Faktor 100 ab.
Von der Laufzeit her übertrifft ihr Gerät mein #Acer #Travelmate "nur" um ~ das Doppelte.
#SpaßMitSchrott hat eben auch Grenzen.
Manchmal, wenn ich lieb frage, darf ich auch mal das Notebook & Updates installieren oder so

@stueja der #Tuxedo kam mit vorinstalliertem TuxedoOS. Das hatte ich 1 oder 2 Wochen genutzt, um den Rechner zu testen. Ist KDE - ich mag Gnome/Gtk lieber.
Der Rechner hat AMD CPU und Grafik. In VMs habe ich Fedora und Endeavour getestet und dann #Endeavour installiert (wird offiziell nicht von Tuxedo unterstützt; tut aber bis auf kleinere Hakeleien trotzdem).
Suspend halt nur RAM, da ich keine 64 GB für Swap „opfern“ wollte.
(Wieso NVidia wenn doch AMD-Grafik? 
)
