Kiki Smith, Tattoo Print, 1995. Smith’s work has been a lifelong influence on my visual work, jewellery design as well as my writing. I love this print of tattoo ‘flash’—with all its vulvamorphia and decorative motifs. Finally finished up this sheet after it taking ages when it really shouldn't have. I've recently claimed set working times during the week, and am claiming Saturday mornings as well for catching up to messages and doing extra work as I can.

This tattooing journey is 15 years in the making. I don't regret not working towards it all this time, I think I was meant to try other things to gain skills that ultimately make me more patient, more understanding, and having a more connected spiritual foundation upon which to provide these offerings. But with that being said, it's been 15 years I've been dreaming of making tattooing my life & livelihood, of providing this service to others. And it's going to take some time, but the day has come where I feel I'm truly beginning to touch that dream in reality. 🜏

Primeros diseñitos de los más que se vienen con temática de El Señor de los Anillos! He querido empezar con la primera película, La Comunidad del Anillo (vale, el último diseño es de otra peli, pero entended que era necesario).
