Ich hab auf Instanz eine Anmeldung ABC.
Auf der Zielinstanz liegen alte Artikel unter der Anmeldung: XYZ und alte Follower.

Frage 1: kann ich ABC nach XYZ umziehen ohne die Beiträge von XYZ zu verlieren?
Frage 2: gehen die Follower auf XYZ verloren?

Wenn ich dazu eine Antwort habe, weiss ich was ich mache. Danke Euch

Is there a way within the fediverse to create something similar to a Facebook group? I have several groups I belong to wanting to leave FB. #fediversehelp

Why are people trigger warning their trans related posts? Blurred photos and an under construction-like trigger warning box, at the end of text subject, says show anyway.
Is it.... To bypass something? Or are trans posts triggering? Is it etiquette for something I'm missing?

Okay for all my smart #fediverse ppl, pls help. I still don't fully grasp what the fediverse is supposed to look like exactly. Are you creating new accounts under different instances inside the #ActivityPub protocol apps, or are you figuring out a way to sign into the full-fledged #pixelfed or #peertube (or whatever) experience *through* your #mastodon handle?

Should we all be having the same handle with different instances (each instance a different UX/app) or... nah?

I don't (yet) have a Bluesky account but I do follow @bsky.brid.gy and I see some Bluesky posts here on Mastodon.

Do I need to get the Bluesky account to also follow a bridge?

Or is there something I can do myself to repost someone else's content?

Fediverse suggestions request: I'm looking for platforms and likely hosting for blogging. I've heard of #ghost and I know WordPress is also supported.

I'm looking to do two things: first, write about likely tech politics and open source. This will likely be a conventional old school blog.

Second, possibly separately, I'm looking to write up notes from my physics studies. This will necessitate solid LaTeX support.

Hey guys, please help with a problem here:

* I've been using Dissenter web browser, but sadly it became abandoned/obsolete, so I was forced to use Brave. However I noticed a problem with CDRomTokyo: it gets blank, same problem at the android phone. And I get so many issues at MiniDisc Tokyo too. Why?
Should I use another web browser?

Please recommend me a good web browser for Linux and android so I could use those sites that I like so much.
