Frage an mastodon Techniker: Instanz-Umzug

Ich hab auf Instanz eine Anmeldung ABC.
Auf der Zielinstanz liegen alte Artikel unter der Anmeldung: XYZ und alte Follower.

Frage 1: kann ich ABC nach XYZ umziehen ohne die Beiträge von XYZ zu verlieren?
Frage 2: gehen die Follower auf XYZ verloren?

Wenn ich dazu eine Antwort habe, weiss ich was ich mache. Danke Euch

I just had a post reported by "mastodon.online"

Which is odd because that is a domain, not a user, and there is nothing wrong with the post at all.

What is going on? Is this some new kind of spam?

@aubreyjones, I'm obviously going to dismiss this but can anyone tell me why there isn't a user who made this report? Why is it just the domain? It feels very OFF.

J'ai pu constater que dans la barre de recherche sur l'instance tooting.ch, j'ai tres peu de resultats en comparaison des resultats que j'obtiens sur l'instance mastodon.social. Je comprends la raison, mais y a-t'il des astuces pour avoir access a l'indexation mastodon.social via mon compte tooting.ch? Merci

I just refused a Follow Request that I was trying to accept.

And can't find the account that requested.

Ok, so, I can’t change the access settings, it’s locked into private access, which is ok I suppose, but.. I’m only able to pull photos out once. The second time I can access the album but it hangs on adding them to posts. And then subsequently it just fails to access the album. It seems to reset if I restart, but just does the same thing again. And yes I did uninstall and reinstall. So… #mastodon #mastodonhelp

Can't be done. Just found out.

I'm trying to use Duck Duck Go browser as my default. I've been using Brave. Both Brave and Opera allow a search of open tabs. Using DDG search for a website on mobile brings up the option to go to an open tab. Why can I not find the option on the desktop browser to see a list of open tabs and search within them? What am I missing?

Is there a way to have filters/mutes applied when searching a hashtag? I want to see what people are posting in #pokemon but there’s a bot account that toots with that hashtag every 15 minutes. I muted the account but I still see it while searching the hashtag and it drowns everything out. This happens both in Ivory and in the web UI.

Is it possible to follow the Explore > News tab at journa.host, either in a Mastodon app like Tusky, or via RSS?

When I tap the photo icon, it just spins and I can’t access my pictures.
