Would really love to see Home Assistant/Nabu Casa come out with more hardware in addition to their smart home hubs (even better if it is open source hardware). Maybe a small voice assistant speaker?

I've been saying for the longest time that @homeassistant and @PINE64 really need to collaborate on a .

I mean one prefers to focus on software with a strong community, the other prefers to focus on hardware with community provided software. Meanwhile we have the megacorps shifting funding from smartspeakers to AI.

It just seems like a no-brainer (not saying easy!) to me.

I have one myself, but haven't managed to figure out how to get it up, running and connected to Home Assistant. The process looked rather alpha and complicated.
