Easy adaptation too. Invite a friend using either a friendly invite URL (referral link) or Qr Code, they enter their email address, and password, done.

This is easier to use than WhatsApp or Signal. It is called, Delta Chat, and it works with your own email.

Did not know this, but you don't need to care about up reputation for #deltachat. Makes complete sense why, as it's not using email like a regular email Case in point, very much still outstanding.

Finally finished moving all my two factor authentication accounts to TOTP app and can now uninstall Authy!

You can run it in Delta Chat, Monocles and Cheogram. It works nicely on multi-device and therefore codes are backed up and available across devices.

Je voudrais utiliser dans un de mes cours une appli de tchat libre pour que les élèves puissent continuer ensuite à s'en servir sans devoir payer de licence ou d'abonnement, et pour les sensibiliser (un peu) aux enjeux et usages du libre.

Auriez-vous des suggestions et/ou retours d'expérience de cas d'usage similaires svp ?

Actuellement je teste #DeltaChat, mais elle ne répond pas au critère d'usage web je crois (cf liste dans pouet suivant).

Have I told you the good news of Delta Chat?

I use #Signal & like it a lot. I've played around with #DeltaChat & it's got some killer features that Signal doesn't. This is coming from a non-techie, but it uses encypted email in the background & nothing is stored on anyone's server in any country.

That's all awesome, but even more than that it's FUN! It allows you to do things like play games in the chat with people making FOSS apps for it, I guess.
