#BikeStreak, Day 64 + #WorldBicycleDay: Took part in the #Velodemo (a demo for more bike infrastructure) in northern #Zurich: velodemo.ch/

Had issues with the #Velospeeder e-assist (actually already on Sunday) and later found out that on one side the pressure spring of the friction wheel is missing. Back home I found a part of it, i.e. it seems as if the spring broke and then fell out. Still works once it's running, but it needs a small pothole or bump to get there... *sigh*

3. Nice lunch ride on the rural backroads of Central New York. Horses, dairy barns, and green corn stalks poking up from neatly plowed rows.

2. After a long period of hemming and hawing, we finally ordered an ebike for my partner. Should make our rides together a lot more fun and adventurous.

#BikeStreak Day 82:
#WorldBicycleDay
With intermittent showers in the morning I decided to take a series of short rides each time the rain let up, and ride all of my bikes for the occasion. I rode them all to the same spot on the Bear Creek Trail and photographed them all there. Hopefully the skies would clear later for a longer ride. The short rides involved my FatBoy (fat bike), Brompton (folding bike), Vado SL 4.0 (e-bike) and Diverge (gravel bike). 1/2

Today we received this piece of feedback from someone who uses our mobile app:

“Used the app for a new route this morning and my goodness, it works so damn well. I’m going to buy my kids phone mounts so they can use it, too.”

And wow, we couldn’t imagine a more meaningful endorsement!

Happy World Bicycle Day to everyone who celebrates — including all the folks who ride on tricycles and quadcycles. The celebration is not just for bicycles!
